Design Approach


U-shaped-apartments catch winds from the Southeast. Big park with trees keeps the atmosphere fresh and cool around the building. The shorter side of the building faces the Southwest to avoid partly the impacts of the sun on the building. Plus, corridors in the middle of the building facilitates air ventilations.

Passive solutions: 1- U-shaped building with space in the middle 2- Corridors let wind flow inside appartment units 3- Trees are around the building 4- Balcony prevents the apartments from the sunlight Material: Paint, brick walls, ceramic floor, sealing reinforced concrete roof. The outside walls are 200 thick, bricksize is 80x80x190, exterior paint is temperature- resistant and white finishing paint. Each 2 bedroom apartment has manz windows for natural light and ventilations. Every apartment has windows, which are toward the outside. This supports not only air ventilations but also offers good views. The apartments on the highest floor has extra place for planting.

The apartments are big enough with good air ventilations. There are a tenis yard and places for excercising. The building offers a variety of public services and nice views for tenants. However, the balconies of the terrace affect the view because of their height and the noise from corridors in the middle influences the tenants.
